Sharon's CareerAfter graduating from Baylor, Sharon started her teaching career in Houston. She continued to teach until accepting a job at the Education Service Center, Region XI in (year). It was here, in 1988, that Sharon opened and directed one of the first two alternative certification programs in Texas.
In 2001, after much prayer, Sharon and her husband Carroll were led to start the first privately-owned teacher certification program in Texas. Sharon's leadership and history in the field has since earned ECAP a premier reputation among Texas' many institutions of education.
