How to apply for your probationary certificate
Step 1
Log in or create a new TEAL account here:
TEAL Login Page
Once logged in click 'Educator' on the Applications tab
* You must use Internst Explorer as your browser to access the TEA website.
Step 2
Click [Applications]
Step 3
Click [Probationary Certificate Texas Program]
Step 4
Fill out the Applicant´s Affidavit making sure you select
[Education Career Alternatives Program]
as your recommending entity.
Step 5
Complete the application wizard. It´s a good idea to complete the fingerprinting process as well. To do this just follow the online directions after you complete your probationary certificate application.
