Sharon's Career

After graduating from Baylor, Sharon started her teaching career in Houston.  She continued to teach until accepting a job at the Education Service Center, Region XI in (year). It was here, in 1988, that Sharon opened and directed one of the first two alternative certification programs in Texas.

In 2001, after much prayer, Sharon and her husband Carroll were led to start the first privately-owned teacher certification program in Texas.  Sharon's leadership and history in the field has since earned ECAP a premier reputation among Texas' many institutions of education.

Micah's Career

In his previous career, Micah served for 14 years as a banker and bank manager. For the majority of this period, Micah managed the Downtown Fort Worth location of Frost Bank.

In 2005, Micah finally surrendered to his true calling to be an educator.  After a brief, but fulfilling term teaching high school English at Flower Mound High School in Lewisville ISD, Micah went to work for the family business, training teachers.
